Silverstone Soccer 2025 Raises £3,000 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Silverstone Soccer 2025 was another fantastic chapter in our annual charity football tournament, and we’re proud to share that this year’s event raised an incredible £3,000 for our chosen charity, Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Hosted at Daventry Town Football Club, the event brought together businesses, families, and football fans from across the region for a day of sport, community, and fundraising.
This year, for the first time, we built excitement ahead of the tournament with a live group stage draw, streamed a few weeks prior to the big day. The live preview gave teams, sponsors, and supporters a chance to see the fixtures unfold in real-time and added a fresh sense of anticipation in the lead-up to kick-off.
From the first kick-off to the final whistle, the atmosphere was buzzing. Ten enthusiastic teams took to the pitch, battling it out in a series of competitive five-a-side matches. While the games were played with passion and energy, the day was about more than just football. Off the pitch, families and visitors enjoyed a variety of activities, including food stalls, entertainment, and community fun, making it a truly inclusive event for everyone.
No Silverstone Soccer event would be complete without a bit of fun and foam, courtesy of Scott’s Soapy Suds. Our charity car wash returned for another year, proving to be a big hit with visitors of all ages. As cars rolled in and the bubbles started flying, it added a light-hearted touch to the day while raising even more for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Silverstone Soccer 2025 was our sixth annual charity tournament, and what a day it was! Ten teams competed in a brilliant display of football, while families enjoyed games, food, and plenty of fun on the sidelines.
A massive congratulations go to Northampton Town Football Club (Official) – not the actual players, but a local team proudly representing the club – who were crowned 2025 Silverstone Soccer Champions. Their win sees them take their place in the Silverstone Soccer Hall of Fame, joining a select group of past champions:
2020 – YMD Boon
2021 – YMD Boon
2022 – Euro Building & Maintenance Contractors Ltd
2023 – Euro Building & Maintenance Contractors Ltd
2024 – Stonhills Estate and Lettings
2025 – Northampton Town Football Club (Official)
One of the day’s standout moments was the arrival of the Tesla Model Y, supplied by Kirsten Blackwell at Tesla. The vehicle drew a lot of attention and proved to be a real highlight, turning heads and sparking numerous conversations. It was fantastic to have Tesla involved, adding an extra buzz to the day.
Our own Joe Clark, who couldn’t resist taking the Tesla Model Y for a test drive – so much so, he turned up late for his own game! It gave everyone a laugh and added a great bit of light-hearted banter to the day. Thankfully, he made it back in time to get stuck in on the pitch.
We also want to acknowledge Asset Engineering Services Ltd, who finished as this year’s runners-up after a strong performance throughout the tournament. Every team gave it their all and helped make the competition so memorable.
A special thank you must go to our generous sponsors: Acorn Analytical Services, KCI Complete Office Solutions, Wilson Browne Solicitors, and Wollaston BMW. Your support plays a crucial role in making this event possible and helps us raise essential funds for a charity that is close to the hearts of many of us.
Looking ahead, plans are already underway for Silverstone Soccer 2026. This year’s event has raised the bar, and we’re excited to go even bigger next time. If you’d like to be part of it – whether as a sponsor, team, volunteer, or supporter – we’d love to hear from you.
Once again, thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported Silverstone Soccer 2025. Together, we’re making a real difference to our local community and helping support the incredible work of Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
