Who Can Apply for Finance?
To be considered for a vehicle finance agreement, you must meet the following criteria at the time of application:

Be aged between 21 and 70 (some products may require you to be 25+)

Hold a full UK/EU driving licence valid for at least 12 months

Have a UK residential address and be able to provide proof of address and identity

Be able to provide employment details or proof of regular income (self-employed applicants must provide business and income evidence)

Have a UK bank account in your name

Meet the lender’s credit and affordability checks

Not have been declared bankrupt or have any active Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs)

Have a credit history with no recent defaults or County Court Judgments (CCJs)
For Personal Contract Hire
The applicant must be:

The lessee, or

Their spouse, partner, or immediate family member (parent, sibling, or child) – provided all other eligibility criteria are met.
For Contract Hire (Business Leasing)
The applicant must be:

An employee or director of the business, or
-
Their spouse, partner, or immediate family member (parent, sibling, or child) – provided all other eligibility criteria are met.
Additional Eligibility for High-Value Electric Vehicles
If you’re applying to lease a high-value electric vehicle, you must meet the following criteria:

Be aged between 25 and 70
-
Hold a full EU driving licence that has been valid for at least five years

Not have been advised by the DVLA or a medical professional to stop driving due to medical reasons

Be the named driver or the driver’s spouse or partner
-
Have held a clean licence with no penalty points in the last five years

Have had no at-fault insurance claims in the past 24 months
-
Have no unspent driving bans on your record
Complete Care FAQs: Everything You Need to Know
Drivers aged 21 to 70 with a full EU licence (held for at least one year) may qualify, subject to certain conditions, including no more than six penalty points, no more than two at-fault claims in the last two years, and no recent driving bans or insurance refusals. Additional criteria apply for high-value electric vehicles.
Breakdown assistance is included with Complete Care. If your vehicle can't be repaired immediately, you’ll also receive a replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours to keep you mobile.
Yes, for Personal Contract Hire, the vehicle can be driven by the lessee’s spouse, partner, or immediate family members (parents, siblings, or children), as long as they also meet all eligibility criteria. For Contract Hire, this benefit extends to employees and their immediate family members.
You may still be eligible if you’ve had no more than two at-fault insurance claims in the last two years. For high-value electric vehicles, no at-fault claims are allowed in the previous 24 months.
Yes, you must hold a full EU driving licence. For standard vehicles, it must have been valid for at least one year; for high-value electric vehicles, it must be valid for at least five years.
Absolutely. Complete Care is available for both personal and business users. For business leases (Contract Hire), employees and their immediate family members may be eligible to drive the vehicle, provided they meet the full criteria.
Yes, as with most lease agreements, there will be an agreed mileage allowance. Any excess mileage may incur additional charges. The limit will be clearly outlined in your lease agreement.
You are not eligible for Complete Care if you have had a driving ban within the last five years, or if you have any unspent driving disqualifications on your record.
Drivers must have no more than six points at the time of taking out the lease. If you accumulate points during the lease, it may affect your eligibility for renewal or future leasing agreements.
Yes, as with all lease agreements, a credit check will be carried out to assess your eligibility and determine the terms of your agreement.
Only approved drivers who meet the eligibility criteria may drive the vehicle. If you need to add or change a named driver, you’ll need to contact our team for approval.
Most vehicles are eligible, but additional criteria apply for high-value electric vehicles. These include a higher minimum age, a longer licence-holding period, and stricter claims and points requirements.
